Junior Graphic Designer

A bit about Net World Sports:

Net World Sports is on an exciting journey as we strive to become the best sports equipment retailer in the world. It’s a pretty bold ambition but being bold is what sums us up as a business, what stands us apart from our competitors and what has fuelled our rapid expansion. In the last financial year alone we have doubled our fantastic workforce, tripled our warehouse space and seen our global sales grow at such a rate that won us the accolade of 2nd fastest growing privately owned business in Wales (45th in the UK) by the Sunday Times Fast Track 100.

We’re on the lookout for talented, enthusiastic and driven people who can match our aspirations for success, helping us to achieve even more.

More about the Junior Graphic Designer role:

We’re on the lookout for someone who is passionate and ambitious about a career in design and branding to join our fantastic Creative team. You’ll need to be highly motivated, full to the brim with ideas as well as having the creative flair and attention to detail to produce work of the highest calibre.

We’re growing extremely quickly so your day to day work will be very varied but, rather than getting phased by the variety and pace, you’ll enjoy working on everything from display ads, to email designs, website layouts to photography shoots. More than anything, you’ll be keen to learn and develop your skills while wanting to make a difference with the work you produce.

Your main responsibilities as Junior Graphic Designer will include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Design the very best creative work for use across a range of display advertising and email campaigns.
  • Work alongside the rest of the creative department to create impactful and engaging designs to support wider integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Interpret upcoming briefs, working from concept through to final design.
  • Assist with illustrations and design work ready for both online content and offline materials.
  • Work to tight deadlines across a variety of projects.
  • Take an active interest in what high quality design can do for ecommerce businesses with a desire to further your knowledge and constantly keep up to date with the latest trends and developments.

What you'll need to show us:

  • You’ll have a passion for design and the desire to continuously develop skills both for the benefit of the business and yourself.
  • You’ll thrive in fast-paced, changeable, and sometimes high pressured environments. You’re able to meet tight deadlines on multiple projects and take accountability for your own workload.
  • You’ll have the most meticulous attention to detail, helping you product the highest quality of work.
  • Your mind is full of ideas and you’ll be constantly suggesting ways that we can improve.
  • You’re a strong team player looking forward to joining a fantastic bunch of individuals who are full of energy and won’t stop until we’re the best.

Your skillset:

    • A degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent).
    • Solid understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.
    • A portfolio displaying variety of previous work and experience, highlighting your talent and suitability for the role.

If you believe you have the relevant attributes and can bring a dynamic approach to your work, then we would like to hear from you.
