The Sales Administrator role:

Net World Sports has fast become the number one online destination for sports equipment. We’re growing extremely quickly, sending out thousands of weekly orders to almost every country around the world from our 50,000 square foot warehouse, but we’re very ambitious. We want to push our success further and that’s why we’re keen to find a driven and dynamic Sales Administrator to support our busy Sales team.

They’re an eager bunch so you’ll need to be totally organised and full of energy to keep up with them. You’ll need to be highly motivated and have a passion to help our Sales team be the very best it can be.

We’re entering an exciting period of growth with increased marketing investment and new product development, so this is a great opportunity to join a fast paced team and truly make a difference. 

What your responsibilities as Sales Sales Administrator will include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Providing assistance to the busy Sales team through a range of daily tasks.
  • Accepting and processing e-mail and postal orders, ensuring customers can receive their goods in the quickest possible time. 
  • Placing supplier orders, maintaining communication with them and chasing progress.
  • Logging and tracking customer quotes, chasing them where needed via phone/email.
  • Handling specific customer phone calls, doing all you can to ensure the very best customer experience.

  • You’ll be capable of building a natural rapport with customers, fully understanding the importance of long-term relationships in future growth.
  • You’ll have a professional approach with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate and influence.
  • You’ll be full of ideas. We understand that it’s our people who will drive us forwards so you’ll constantly be suggesting ways to improve our service and what we offer to our customers.
  • You won’t necessarily be a budding sports star but you’ll have a solid knowledge of sports in general. Ideally you’ll have extensive knowledge in at least one area of sports.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Previous experience in the sports equipment sector.
