The FORTRESS cricket nets can be cut to any requested size and are available in 3 thicknesses/strengths; 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm (see comparison table below for info). Our range of cricket netting can be used both indoors & outdoors and is strong enough to stop balls being struck by all ages/levels of cricket player (home/club/county/test grade).
Our cricket net twine is made from HDPP (polypropylene) that is specially bonded (glued) and UV treated so the twine is strong, doesn’t unravel and is 100% weather resistant. The netting is knotted into a 48mm (2”) mesh size and features a 6mm border rope to reinforce the net edges. At Net World we believe that knotted cricket netting is significantly longer lasting than knotless based on intense research and our years of knowledge. If part of the twine breaks on knotless type netting, the mesh and eventually the whole net will start to destabilise and break apart because the twine fibres are all interconnected. On knotted cricket netting the twine is knotted mesh (not interconnected) so if the twine does break, only one mesh is broken (not the whole net).
This is why our heavy duty knotted HDPP cricket netting is used worldwide by high level cricket clubs including Nottinghamshire CC (at Trent Bridge) and Somerset CC (at Cooper Associates County Ground).

I managed to put it up with no tools except some tall metal rose stakes, some cable-ties and some scissors to cut off the excess cable-tie plastic.
I got the top of a garden wall heightened by around 2 5 to 3 feet to stop next door's footballs constantly flying over the wall and snapping my roses' buds off.
The neighbours aren't happy as it looks like (my words) a prison exercise yard but I explsined that the netting still allows their light through to their side, it puts no weight on the wall and in the recent strong winds I also noticed it was unaffected as it didn't act like a sail. It was an emergency measure and so far I've seen balls hit it but none have landed me side which is a first.
It took less than an hour to protect my garden and I finally feel safe and that I can enjoy my own space and invest in nicer plants and get my ceramic bird bath out now. It shouldn't be me who pays for this measure but it's cheaper than a whole new wall and less shading than an unnaturally heightened screen on top of a wall.
