Grassroots sports clubs and community organisations across Wales can apply to the Sport Wales Be Active Wales Fund for grants of £300 to £50,000 towards new sports equipment, with Sport Wales funding up to 90% of eligible project costs.

Who Can Apply?

Your organisation may be eligible for the Be Active Wales Fund if it:

• Is a not-for-profit sports club or community organisation.
• Operates in Wales and primarily benefits Welsh residents.
• Is applying for a project or activity that has not yet started.
• Will use the funding to benefit the wider community, rather than a single school.
• Meets the requirements outlined in the Sport Wales Expression of Interest form.
• Promotes equality, sustainability and innovation through sport.
• Demonstrates how the project will increase participation in physical activity.
